Escape

Take me home.

Columbus - 2016

27/7/2022

I have seen countless suns rise
Breathing air from alien skies.
And I lived a thousand lives,
None of which felt like lies.
I am a just avenger
And a false pretender
A princess to be saved
And a demon to be slain.
If I can get a souvenir
With the final frontier
Sitting at my doorstep
Why sit idle instead?

My destinies were forged,
Whether light or tragic
Through power gorged
From this binary magic!
...
I am free from physics’ cage.
